PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Monitors weekly inventories to ensure that adequate balances are always available by performing periodic counts and updates information in CMMS.
- Receives incoming maintenance supplies, stock parts, repair parts and machinery/equipment; updates information in CMMS; and tags and stores items in proper locations.
- Issues stock/repair parts to work orders and/or appropriate personnel and records withdrawals in the system.
- Maintains a neat and orderly storeroom.
- Responsible for the proper labeling of inventory items and storage areas and relabels parts that do not have barcodes.
- Performs material handling functions including transporting items to designated departments and moving items to appropriate storage areas.
- Assists in the development and implementation of inventory control processes and procedures.
- Investigates inventory discrepancies to identify root cause(s).
- Assists in all inventory related projects.
- Prepares miscellaneous items (motors, rollers, etc.) to be shipped out for repair.
- Performs monthly skids inventory.
- Assists with year-end inventory and audits as necessary.
- Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.
