Work Environment

This position is in a plant environment which includes frequent exposure to heat, noise, moving mechanical parts and forklift traffic. You will be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment, including but not limited to safety glasses and safety shoes.

COMPETENCIES: (i.e., to be defined in terms of required education, training, skills, and/or experience)

  • Electrical Engineering degree required
  • 5+ years experience in manufacturing environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Computer proficiency, especially Microsoft Office
  • Strong understanding of electrical safety requirements
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to develop and execute operational plans
  • ISO 9001 background helpful

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: (i.e., functions, authorities, tasks, etc.)

  • Responsible for all electrical planning of the facility
  • Lead electrical projects related to power needs of the facility, new equipment, etc.
  • Promote and maintain a continuous improvement culture
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
  • Comply with the Company's quality management system requirements.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS: (i.e., optional - primary contacts/interfaces internally and externally)

  • Skana ambassador in all dealings with fellow employees, customers, & vendors
  • Interface internally with all Skana employees
